Wild & Stone’s plastic free toilet brush is made from FSC® certified beechwood and a mix of Tampico and Coconut Fibre bristles. Once you have finished with this item, simply place it into your home compost.
Every time you clean your toilet, small plastic hairs fall off your toilet brush and make their way into our ocean, harming marine life and polluting our waterways. When you are finished with your traditional toilet brush, it will then rot landfill for hundreds of years. To do your part in saving our planet, make the swap to a plastic free toilet brush.
What are Tampico and Coconut Fibre bristles?
The Tampico Fibre comes from a type of cactus called Agave Lechuguilla. It only grows naturally in one region of Mexico.
Coconut Fibre, also known as Coir Fibre) is one of the thickest and strongest natural fibres. Made from the outer husk of the coconut, it has a low decomposition rate which enables it to be so long lasting. At the end of its lifetime, it completely biodegrades and enriches the soil.
This fibre mix is strong and durable, and it has tiny hooks which give it a slightly abrasive quality that comes from nature. These fibres don't lose its shape or texture over time, so they are perfect for a toilet brush.
What is FSC® 100% Certified Beechwood?

This means that the wood used in this product is certified against the principles and criteria of the Forest Stewardship Council®, including values such as maintaining the forest’s ecosystem, upholding indigenous people’s rights of land ownership, and a commitment to maintain or enhance the forests used.
